This is the third in the series I did for the the 2006 NFL football season. It was painted on masonite 30x40 inches with acrylic. Painting shows QB Eli manning from the NY Giants taking a snap pointing to the future of the franchise with the late Wellington Mara in the background looking toward the future as well....he hand selected Eli Manning before his passing.
A lot of great Super Bowls have happened lately (44 and 45) but 42 will probably always be my favorite. Eli's a very odd but likable quarterback, probably one of the most interesting people in the NFL because you have no idea when he's going to be amazing or utterly terrible, but he'll almost always be mellow either way. But yeah, excellent picture!
Awesome and it's one of my favorite players. I love the glare effect you have on the helmets. It's very realistic. I'm glad the Giants won the super bowl this year. Where i'm from, when it comes to the Giants and Patriots, people get into this big debate. Don't even get me started on the Seattle Seahawks (lol).
